The India Gate is the national monument of India which is located in the heart of New Delhi. It was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and is composed of red and pale sandstone and granite. This prominent landmark of the country is dedicated to 90,000 soldiers of the Indian army who sacrificed their lives fighting for our country. In memory of these martyrs, a flame known as Amar Jawan Jyoti is kept constantly alive here.

1: India is just a beautiful, intoxicating, vibrant and stunning land with beautiful people. My favourite places are Jaipur and Anjuna beach, Goa.
