Yaganti Temple, Andhra Pradesh

The Yagantiswamy temple in Kurnool district is famous among pilgrims of Andhra Pradesh. During Shivratri, devotees travel from all over the state to seek the blessings of the deity Lord Shiva. The temple was constructed and completed by Harihara Bukkarayalu, the first Vijayanagara Sangama king during the 15th century.
An amazing feature of the temple is the Pushkarni, a small pond usually found in old temples across India. It is still a mystery from where water flows from the bottom of the hill to the Pushkarni in all seasons. The water in this Pushkarini is said to be always be fresh and sweet, as it comes from the hills.

Somnath Temple, Gujarat

The Somanth temple was built in the 11th century. The present structure was rebuilt in the year 1951. The history states that the temple was always a target for its wealth. This temple has been destroyed 17 times and after reconstruction it looks like the same old one.
Kartik Purnima Fair is held here for four days beginning on Kartik Sud 14 according to the Hindu calendar, and attracts crowds in large numbers.
