Trivandrum Central,Kerala : Opened in the year 1931, Trivandrum Central is one of the oldest and busiest railways in southern India in terms of passenger movement.
One of the landmarks of the Trivandrum station is its building, which was built during the time of Sethu Laxmi Bayi using only rock masonry instead of bricks. The station has five platforms and provides a lot of revenue for the Southern Railways.
Vashi railway station, Maharashtra : This railway station sits on the harbor line of Mumbai Suburban Railway Network.
The building above the railway station houses many big corporate and technological offices like Times of India, V2 Solutions Private Limited, Software Technology Parks of India, C2K Public Relations and others. It also has a big shopping complex and market in front of the station. Opened in the year 1992, this is an on ground railway station with only 4 platforms.
Coimbatore Junction, Tamil Nadu: Also known as Coimbatore Main, this railway station is the second busiest stations in south India after Chennai Central. It is also one of the highest revenue yielding stations of Tamil Nadu because of the commuters use the station every day. It is graded A1 by the Southern Railway Station and is the primary railway station for the city of Coimbatore.
