The Ise Grand Shrine is considered as the most sacred, holiest and important place located in Japan. This shrine is purely dedicated to Amaterasu, the Sun goddess and the shrine is in existence since 4BC. This sacred shrine is demolished and rebuilt once in every twenty years as they follow the Shinto idea of death and rebirth. This place is fully restricted for public and the only people who can enter this shrine are the high priests or priestesses who belong to Japanese imperial family.
