7 Beaches to Visit Before They Disappear

Phu Quoc, Vietnam
beach

Phu Quoc is a tranquil tropical island off the southwest coast of Vietnam, in the Gulf of Thailand. This serene island has 220 square miles of white-sand beaches and simple bungalow-style guesthouses.
This peaceful atmosphere is being planned to be plundered by the Vietnamese government, which wants to make it "the next Phuket." The government has planned to construct - a world-class tourism center, cruise ports international airport, casinos and finance and business hubs here. It plans to attract 7 million tourists by 2030. This is going to ruin the rustic charm of Phu Quoc and leave its natural beauty destroyed.
If You Visit: Mango Bay, on Long Beach, still has the tranquil charm of Phu Quoc, with simple bungalows.
