This stunning and offbeat construction located in Austria is the master brain of Zaha Hadid, which was built in 2005 and opened in the year 2007.The railway station which has a unique streamlined design comprises of four stations (Congress Station, Loewenhaus Station, Alpenzoo Station, and Hungerburg Station) and has won the Gold Medal for design by the International Olympic Committee in 2005.
''Each station has its own unique context, topography, altitude, and circulation. We studied natural phenomena such as glacial moraines and ice movements - as we wanted each station to use the fluid language of natural ice formations, like a frozen stream on the mountainside'' says Zaha Hadid, reports architecturelist.com.
