Zurich has topped the list of most expensive cities to live in, overtaking Tokyo for the first time in 20 years, reveals Economic Intelligence Unit's Latest Worldwide Cost of Living Survey, conducted recently. Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland, which is also a leading global city and one among the world's largest financial centres. According to a survey conducted previous year, this city stood in the sixth position. The price for renting an apartment without an elevator outside the city started from $ 1500 onwards.
