Impressive Railway Stations of the World

Kievskaya Metro

railway

The image looks more like a palace or museum and it is hard to believe that it is a railway station! Kievskaya station in Moscow, built in 1954 has turned out to be the pride of the city due to its grand design and striking art work. The Ukrainian life and folk motifs are reflected in the artwork of this richly ornamented station which also shows Baroque influence. The station is named after the Kievskaya Rail Terminal which is directly connected to the station.
