Little was known about this lodge, until Prince William popped the million dollar question to Kate Middleton. The Rutundu Lodge, situated on the slopes of Mount Kenya, suddenly shot into fame with its scenic beauty and lavishness. The other stand out part is that this lodge is accessible only either by air, horseback or a seven mile hike. "I love the warm fires and candle lights," wrote Kate in the guestbook. "Look forward to next time, soon I hope," wrote Prince William with Rutundu lodge as the lone witness.
