Victoria Falls, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, is located in southern Africa on the Zambezi River at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe.

According to statistics, it is the largest waterfall in the world and in the year 1989, it was declared as a world heritage site. Dr. David Livingstone, a Scottish explorer named the waterfall after Queen Victoria. But, Mosi-oa-Tunya was the name given to this gorgeous falls by locals, which means ''smoke that thunders''.

According to Livingstone, ''No one can imagine the beauty of the view from anything witnessed in England. It had never been seen before by European eyes, but scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight'', as reported by zambia-the-african-safari.com.
