Plitvice Waterfalls include a large network of karstic lakes and waterfalls and is a part of Plitvice Lakes National Park, located in central Croatia.

The national park is quite renowned for its 16 mesmerizing lakes which are arranged in cascades. The unique colours, ranging from azure to green, grey or blue adds to the beauty of the lakes, which are separated into upper and lower cluster. The quantity of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of sunlight are factors which result in the colour change of water. 1: The picture given as Angel falls is not correct. The picture shown is of Seljalandsfoss in Iceland. I am sure since I have been there :) !!

2: Also the picture of Minnehaha falls is incorrect. I live near there and have been there several times.
