Bhangarh Fort
Bhangarh is a ruined town in India which is famous for its historical ruins as well as the mysterious stories associated with it. King Madho Singh, son of great Mughal general, Man Singh of Amber established the town in the year 1613 and within a short time span the town was abandoned, following a curse by a magician. According to legend, the city was cursed by Guru Balu Nath, ''The moment the shadows of your palaces touch me, the city shall be no more!''But, Ajab Singh, the grandson of Madho Singh constructed the palace, casting shadow on Balu Nath's forbidden retreat, leading to the destruction of the entire town. It is said that whenever a house is built in this area, its roof falls down and according to the natives, nobody came back who stayed there after dark. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) sign board put up there says, ''Staying after sunset is strictly prohibited in this area.''
