Snowhotel offers 20 snow suites that include unusual themes from arctic culture. All the rooms have wall decoration made up of snow, and ice sculptures to give frosty ambiance and it also has 26 feet high snow dome. The hotel also offers ice bar built with 25 tons of ice, an elegant restaurant called Gabba, which offers local tasty food cooked on open fire, sauna and for pet lovers there is a reindeer park and a husky farm near to the hotel. It also arranges activities such as husky trips, King Crab excursion, Snowmobile tours, ice fishing and hunting for the northern lights. It also conducts snowshoe trip with guides and visitors can see World War 2 bomb-shelter as well.
Hotel de Glace-Quebec: The hotel is situated 5 km north of Quebec City, on the first hill of the Laurentian Mountains. This is the one and only ice hotel in North America, which was built on January 1, 2001. Since its opening there are more than a million visitors and 43,000 overnight guests. This hotel is built with 500,000 tons of ice and 15,000 tons of snow. It offers 85 mattresses covered with reindeer furs, and frozen sleeping bags. Lavatory is the only heated part of this resort and is located in a separate structure. All the interior furniture is built with ice and its bar offers drinks and cocktails in ice glasses. The hotel offers facilities such as nightclub, ice cafe, movie theater and a chapel for a beautiful wedding ambiance.
