India's Engineering Wonders: 5 Longest Expressways in The Country

Outer Ring Road, Hyderabad: The 158 kilometer, 8 eight lane Hyderabad Outer Ring Road expressway encircling the City of Hyderabad is one of the longest expressway in the country. It is built at a cost of Rs.6,696 crore and with an assistance of Rs.3,123 crore from the Japan International Cooperation Agency.

The main objective behind constructing the ORR was decongestion of the metropolitan area and the inner ring road, provision of orbital linkage to radial arterial roads, development of satellite townships, providing linkage to bus systems, speedy access to the International Airport and to improve connectivity between the outer suburbs of Hyderabad.
The ORR has 14 junctions for entry and exit which are Shamshabad Junction, AP Police Academy, Nanakramguda, Gachibowli, Pantancheru, Dommarapochampalli, Shamirpet, Cherial, Annojiguda, Ghatkesar, Pedda Amberpet, Bongloor and Kandlakoya junction. The main part of the ORR covers nodes like Hitech city, Nanakramguda and the international airport.

2: Bangalore Mysore express way has not really built. It's just a connecting NH. Worst traffic and hell lot of speed breakers. Can't be considered as express way.
