Air India Express Launches 'Freedom Sale' with Fares from Rs 1,279

Air India Express has launched a special 'Freedom Sale' on the occasion of India's 79th Independence Day, selling close to 50 lakh seats at low fares starting at Rs 1,279 on domestic sectors and Rs 4,279 on international sectors.

Booking window is opened only on the airline's website and mobile app starting August 10, and then across all major booking channels between August 11 and 15. Customers are able to pick from a range of fares -'Xpress Lite' for zero baggage check-in, 'Xpress Value' with regular baggage allowances from Rs 1,379 for domestic travel and Rs 4,479 for international travel, and 'Xpress Biz', the premium cabin option with up to 58-inch seat pitch on more than 40 new aircraft.

With a fleet of 116 planes and over 500 daily flights that serve 38 domestic and 17 international points, Air India Express asserts that the Freedom Sale reflects its dedication to making flying more convenient, affordable, and comfortable, and building further its network and range of services.
