Sharfuddin Shah Wilayat is a saint who travelled to India from Iran, who is popularly addressed as Dada. The temple is said to be filled with black scorpions. The scorpions are harmless and crawl over devotees but have never attack them.
These Black Scorpions are species which a can strike painful sting or even cause death. The devotees are allowed to take the scorpion's home by seeking permission from the shrine along with the return date. The scorpions are said to be harmless even when taken out of the shrine, but they tend to sting when not returned on the exact date.

Vittala temple is located in Hampi, Karnataka, It is a world heritage site and also the city of ruins. Hampi was ruled by the Vijaya Nagara empire, who is known as one of the richest Kings ever.
