Indian Traveller's Most Favourite Asian Landmarks

Delhi: TripAdvisor, the world's largest travel site, announced a list of top landmarks in Asia based on reviews by Indian travellers on TripAdvisor.

The list showcases the landmarks which are most highly rated by Indian travellers on TripAdvisor.


While the Taktsang Monsatery in Bhutan tops the Asia list, Thailand emerges as the country with the most number of landmark attractions loved by Indian reviewers in Asia, followed by Malaysia and China.

Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), Bhutan is the top landmark in Asia:

This fantastic and very special monastery literally hangs at the edge of a cliff at a steep 900 meters above Paro valley. It is usually advised to visit it at the end of your stay in Bhutan, when you are acclimatised to the altitude. The view is great and the atmosphere holy, a place where every Bhutanese will want to come at least once in his life. It has many legends associated with its origin as a sacred Buddhist site.
