BANGALORE: Vacations are a special time to enjoy with the near and dear ones. Finding a destination that keeps everyone happy alongside offering the adults with opportunities for fun and relaxation can be a challenge.
Most often people plan to beat the summer heat by going on a holiday trip. So, traveling to international destinations for a holiday is the flavor for this summer among Indians, according to a new Global travel search site Sky scanner report.
This is mainly attributed to strengthening rupee, the impact and influence of social media and, most importantly, the yearning of Indian travelers to explore the world, especially during the ongoing summer vacation, is contributing to the robust growth of India's outbound travel sector.
Sharat Dhall, head of travel portal Yatra.com, 'The key factors contributing to the robust growth are the strengthening rupee, the rise in disposable income, the desire to explore new places as well as the increasing influence of social media,' reports IANS. 'An ever-increasing number of Indian travelers are now choosing foreign destinations for holidaying,' he added.
This site released a series of travel trends, which show that Indians are keen to escape from the scorching heat and are turning to overseas travel this summer season.
