Masinagudi to Ooty via Kalhatty
Truly a road to heaven- this is what we Indians consider this road. The Masinagudi - Ooty road is just a pavement to heaven. With more than 36 hair pin bends, jammed over just 20 kms, the small and beautiful town Masinagudi is the starting point of this trip. Be careful, as this road gets steeper and steeper, which means you need to be a skilled driver. Buses ramming over the sides is a common sight, so really drive with care. But the end result is the beautiful hill station called Ooty, where you can stretch and relax.

9: there is no mention of any roads of rajasthan either. Road from Pokharan to jaislmer is an excellent one, straight road for around 40km stretch, no bends to turns and no speed breakers. and very less traffic. right through the dessert.
