Akshardham Temple

Akshardham, also known as Delhi Akshardham or Swaminarayan Akshardham is a Hindu temple complex in Delhi. It is a beautiful blend of architecture, tradition and spirituality. The temple developed by Pramukh Swami Maharaj with the support of 3,000 volunteers and 7,000 artisans was officially opened in the year 2005.It is an important landmark in Delhi and majority of the tourists who visit Delhi, make it a point to grasp the charm of this outstanding shrine as well.

1: It is written, "A beautiful construction of the 1987 AD, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple...".

There is a correction though - Only the towere shown in the picture was constructed in 1987 and NOT the temple.

This temple is glorified in the Divya Prabandha, the early medieval Tamil literature canon of the Alvar saints from the 6th–9th centuries AD, meaning that this temple was built much before that.

2: Harry potter became famous but Vikramaditya story which was in Tamil, earlier, is not known. Mermaid is known but combination of human head to cow,Elephant head to human,Monkey head to human were all sculptured in India is less known. The temples in Tamilnadu has thousands of different sculptures placed in the entire height of it.
