Yes, you heard it right. This temple is unbelievably submerged under water, but partially. Situated in Varanasi near the Scindia Ghat, the Shiva temple stands along the banks of holy river Ganga, bordering the Manikarnika to the north in Scindia Ghat. It is said that, long before, in 1830 to be exact, the temple fell due to the sheer weight of the ghat's construction. Today, the temple remains abandoned and is not in use.

Now here is another interesting temple. Kal Bhairav Nath is considered to be the guardian of the city of Ujjain. The temple is famous for its deity which swallows gallons of wine. Wine is also the only Prasad given to its beloved devotees. Thousands of devotees throng to this temple bearing bottles of wine as offering. Liquor is always made available outside the temple, 24x7- 365 days a year. According to myths, the temple is said to be built by Marathas.
