Palace of Mysore
The palace of Mysore, also known as the Amba Vilas Place is one of the most famous tourist attractions in India after Taj Mahal and is visited by more than 2.7 million visitors annually. It is situated in the city of Mysore in Karnataka and is the official residence of Wodeyars, the former royal family of Mysore. The architecture found here is a blend of Hindu, Muslim, Rajput and gothic styles, which is described as Indo-Saracenic.
