The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Brussels worked with travel leaders Jetwing Travels (Pvt) Ltd and Walkers Tours Limited to deliver an exciting promotional event about Sri Lanka's tourism offer.

The prosperous economy of Luxembourg positions it as the second highest in the world for nominal GDP per capita and makes it an important international tourism source market. Local residents demonstrate both strong financial commitment to travel and a strong desire to experience distant and fascinating destinations. Luxembourg emerges as a lucrative source market for Sri Lanka since its residents increasingly engage in outbound travel.

The ULT Travel Expo acted as a successful venue to provide valuable information about future travel destinations to people constructing their itineraries for 2025 and 2026. Thousands of people visited the exhibition because they desired to find distinctive locations with cultural depth and memorable travel experiences. Thousands of visitors showed their excitement toward Sri Lanka through a booth that used media content, printed materials and visuals to explain how heritage and natural scenes seamlessly come together in the country.

Visitors at the exhibition were drawn to the Sri Lankan pavilion because it displayed vibrant imagery that featured golden beaches and misty hill country along with ancient ruins and wildlife safaris. Sri Lanka introduced its diverse range of attractions to visitors through video presentations and interactive location maps while distributing informative brochures about UNESCO World Heritage destinations and cultural events and calm beach and wellness destinations.

Visitors could enjoy Ceylon tea preparation to sample Sri Lanka's traditional tea culture at the exhibition. As a sign of Sri Lankan hospitality the guests received free Ceylon cinnamon packets.
