"The sky will be mainly clear today (Friday) and the maximum temperature would be around 36 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The day's minimum temperature settled at 24 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 63 percent.
Thursday's maximum temperature was 35.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the minimum was 24.2 degrees Celsius, average for the season.
