Lalgarh Palace
The magnificent structure in sandstone is a perfect example of Indo- Sarasenic architecture. It was shaped and designed by Sir Swinton Jacod. It is a ideal blend of Mughal, Rajput and European architecture. Gorgeous latticework and filigree work has been integrated to add to the splendor of the palace. Currently it is maintained by the Welcome Heritage Group.The three-storey complex is covered in red sandstone quarried from the Thar Desert. The complex contains the features considered essential for a late 19th-century palace: drawing rooms, smoking rooms, guest suites, lounges, cupolas, pavilions, several grand halls, including a dining room which could seat 400 diners.
Garh Palace
Garh Palace is a equipped complex of many palaces built by different kings in the 17th and 18th centuries.Several palaces here are justly famed for their wall paintings. Chhatra Mahal has ceilings decorated with floral patterns, and murals portraying Krishna lifting the Govardhan, and life at the palace. Phool Mahal describes a huge royal procession.
Badal Mahal
Badal Mahal is well known as palace of clouds which is located on side of Gaibsagar Constructed inside the Kumbhalgarh Fort; Badal Mahal is famed for its unique design. Palace was built in two different time period. There are one half ripe lotus each on all the three domes and three half ripe lotus on longest dome of Badal Mahal, which gives a sticking beauty of this palace. The Mahal offers a remarkable bird's eye view of the in and outside the fort.
