Big Ben is one of the most famous clocks in the world. In London, Big Ben is called for the great bell of the north end clock of the Palace of Westminster. This clock is also referred to the clock tower which is officially named as Elizabeth Tower. The biggest four-sided chiming clock, Elizabeth Towers is the third-tallest free-standing clock tower. Standing at a height of 316 feet, the clock face is 23 feet square along with 4 foot numbers each. The great bell is almost seven and a half feet tall and the weight if the bell is around 13 tons. Besides, Westminster Palace was designed by Charles Barry, the clock tower is designed by Augustus Pugin and the clock was created by Beckett Denison.
