Where: Dubai
Not the actual world but the group of islands called The World is a fantastic retreat for celebrities. Approachable by only helicopters, boats and sea plane the structure was built off shore the Dubai coast in 2003. Unfortunately, The World is falling into disrepair an gradually sinking. It is now barely visible from the coast.
8. Uros
Where: Peru
The tiny bunch of houses built by the Uro people on the Titicaca Lake is based on small artificial islands. The islands were built after the Uros were driven off the land by the Inca community and are continuously repaired and reconstructed because of the disintegrating bottom.

1: he Expenditure involved in such grand projects could have been used for the poorest for uplifting them from utter poverty and hunger,but men as usual have become such snobs,that for showing off they spend in such volumes, never can be imagined,those are spend thrifts who has brought the international crisis of depravity for millions of people who are unable to make the two ends meet.How god reacts to those guys involved will be a thing to watch with interest.
