Schloss Neuschwanstein Castle
Neuschwanstein castle situated on a rocky hill above the village of Hohenschwangau in Germany is one of the most preferred travel destinations in Germany, which also holds the recognition of being the most photographed building in the whole world. King Ludwig II built the castle in 1886 and this shy king used the castle to stay away from public life. The castle often referred to as 'the castle of the fairy-tale king' was opened to the public after the King's death and it is visited by nearly 1.3 million people annually.
