Lowenburg Castle
Lowenberg castle located in Wilhelmshohe Berg Park of Germany was built around 1800 by Landgrave Wilhelm IX. The structure also known as Castle of the lion is one of the first major neo-Gothic buildings in Germany which appears like a medieval knight's castle. Visitors get the opportunity to see outstanding living quarters of a baroque design and can also view large sections of the princely residence which includes the armor suits of the 16th and 17th century and the tomb of the castle builder.
