Garh Palace
Garh Palace is a equipped complex of many palaces built by different kings in the 17th and 18th centuries. vacant in the second half of the 20th century, it lay decaying till some years ago, when tourism inspired a clear-up.

Several palaces here are justly famed for their wall paintings. Chhatra Mahal has ceilings decorated with floral patterns, and murals portraying Krishna lifting the Govardhan, and life at the palace. Phool Mahal describes a huge royal procession. The legendary paintings in Badal Mahal, interestingly, show Chinese influences in the faces and flowers, hinting at the source of Bundi’s riches — from poppy, cultivated for the lucrative opium trade with China.


The Garh Palace has some wonderful constructions known as, 'Ratan Daulat' (Diwan-i-Am), Chhatra Mahal, Badal Mahal ,Phool Mahal (To visit these palaces prior permission is required from the secretary at Moti Mahal ), 'Chitrashala'is a splendid pavilion and gallery of fascinating murals in miniature style.
