Best Places to Celebrate Easter
7.France:
Church bells ring every day of the year apart from for the three days of Easter. According to a myth the bells stop ringing because they've made a trip to Rome in order to be blessed. On Easter Sunday, the bells tour the country sprinkling chocolate eggs, chickens and rabbits in every garden. After noon, children head to the gardens to find the hidden treasures left by the bells. The day is full of Easter meals, normally consisting of lamb.
8.Germany:
Easter baskets are the main tradition in Germany where each child receives a basket put together by their parents containing eggs, chocolates, toys and other gifts. The baskets are hidden in the garden and the children hunt for them after church on Easter Sunday. This is mainly popular in rural areas. In more urban areas, families go on an Easter walk and hide their Easter nest in the park or a meadow and the kids go hunting for it during the walk. Few families like to hide chocolate eggs along the route of the walk.
