Sutong Bridge-China
Located in China the Sutong Bridge is world's longest cable-stayed bridge with the main span (1,088 m) and 8,206 m long between Nantong and Changshu. The two side spans are 300 metres each, and there are also four small cable spans. The bridge received outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement award (OCEA) from the American Society of Civil Engineers in 2010. After the construction of the bridge the travel between Shanghai and Nantong shorten to about an hour. It is a must see bridge in China, with a status project that cost ?1.3 billion.
