Kawardha:

Kawardha is located in the district of Kabirdham in Chattisgarh and it is located in the border of the Maikal hills. Kanker:

This tribal district of Chhattisgarh became independent in 1999.It shares its borders with Bastar, Durg, Rainangaon and Dhamatri. Earlier it was an important part of Satyahana dynasty. It is believed that lord Rama has passed Dandakaranya forest during his exile. Numerous monuments and handicrafts shows the glorious past of Kanker. You will come across various caves, dense forests, lush green foliage and rugged landscape by the sides of Hatkul and Sindur rivers. This is and ideal place for those who searching for historical evidences of prehistoric settlement. History says barbaric groups were stayed in Kanker during stoneage. Later on the place were occupied by saints and sagas. This region has a pleasant climate form October to March. Most of its festivals take place during this time. The hills are rich with wild life.

Bhoramde

Chhattisgarh


Bhoramde temple situated amidst of Maikal Mountains and dense forests. The temple is built on a rock in nagar style; it is a perfect blend of religious and erotic sculpture. Visiters are mostly attracted by the artistic appeal of famous shivalinga . This temple somehow resembles Konark Sun temple and Khajuraho temple. It is called Khajuraho of Chhattisgrah. The Mawa Mahal is another important monument situated near Bhoramdeo. You can find amazing pose of various erotic sculptures inside the temple. This is one of the most beautifully decorated temples in India. You can even find the traces of Ramkada carved in the stone. The temple is world famous for its exquisite carving in different poses.


Champaran

Old champaran was two separate districts- east champaran and west Champaran. This is one of the administrative districts in Bihar. Mehsi, Phenhara, raxaul, Adapur are the major tourist attractions. The Bhaikundanath temple situated in Baikunta dham is a very important temple. The temple has a single idle od Shiva Parvathy and Ganesha.
