Vanganga Lake Garden



This picturesque lake located at the entrance to the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. It is supported by a salubrious garden. This garden is accessible through bridges built in some rare Japanese style. The top attractions include water spread lined with rows of trees, boats, gurgling fountains, and some homely restaurants. As well, this garden is much sought-after by filmmakers and Hindi film songs have been shot here.

Hirwavan garden:


Hirwavan garden at Piparia is another alluring garden located at the entry point at Silvassa. Since 1780 it was under the Portuguese regime and after independence it came to be a Union Territory. The landscape here is scenic and beautiful with its meandering rivers, lush forests and cascading hills. The visitors are fascinated and lose themselves at the sight of colorful shrubs, zigzag footpaths and comfortable sit outs.

Tribal Museum:



Tribal Museum at Silvassa has many dazzling ornaments, varieties of musical instruments, fishing and hunting gadgets, agricultural items and house hold articles - not to speak of several exotic artifacts. The large collection portrays the tribal way of life in the form of life size models, wedding dresses and photographs of eventful ceremonies.
