Destinations to Escape this Summer

Although the summer season has been glorified in Western Literature, and is a much awaited season for the Westerners, in India the story is all different. The impending summer brings with it the scorching sun and a yearning crowd of people waiting to get far away from the madding crowd of the city and escape to different destination to beat the heat. India is a diverse country to chill out in the summer.

1.LADAKH

Located in the region of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh offers a panoramic view which is a treat to the eyes of travelers. With the breathtaking scenery to stunning lakes, it caters to the taste of all from adventurous hiking, bike riding and camping to spotting some rare wildlife like the snow leopard at the Hemis National Park, a double humped Bactrian camel, the rare Pashmina goat to the Himalayan Marmot; Ladakh is a bundle of joy for everyone.

2.KASHMIR

Often coined as the Switzerland of India the serene beauty of Kashmir never fails to captivate the heart of millions. The Shikara rides and the floating market reminds one of the Gondolas of Venice. 5.MUNNAR

6.ANDAMAN ISLANDS
