Jal Mahal (meaning "Water Palace") is a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city, the capital of the state of Rajasthan, India. The palace and the lake around it were renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber.

Jal Mahal means Water palace which is situated in the center of the Man sager Lake in Jaipur. Jal Mahal was built in 18th Century by Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. It was used by the royal family to enjoy the cool breeze on the lake.

Jalmahal was conveying back to life and its medieval glory for the city’s population. A gorgeous red bricked pavement was constructing on the curves of Mansagar Lake, if one now tours Jalmahal, one gets the feel of an establishment set up near a beach for the enjoyment of tourists and pleasure seekers. To reach Jalmahal, boats have been prearranged by the caretakers of the present Jalmahal project and a bridge has been built on the western edge of the palace where the travelers can go down from the boat and enter the palace.
