Sun Temple:

This world famous temple situated about 40 km from Ranchi. . The temple is in the form of a mind boggling massive chariot with elegantly decorated 18 wheels and seven rebellious horses ready to pull off. A motorable road is available to reach the temple. The temple boasts of a sacred pond that is really a nature's gift to the people of Chotanagpur.

Dassam Falls:

When you travel 40 km. away from Ranchi on the Tata Road you will reach the village Taimara . , there you can find the ravishing beauty of Kanchi river. The river is falling from a height of about 144 feet. The beautiful Dassam falls situated here to add more beauty to the scenery. The tourists warned to be careful while bathing in the stream.

Gonda Hill and Rock Garden:

This is an aesthetically developed tourist spot with an artificial garden, complete with waterfalls and sculptures. The rock garden is spectacular in its appearance, striking a delicate balance between the natural beauty and the creativity of the human mind.

Parasnath :

This is the tallest and the most imposing hill in Jharkhand, rising to an elevation of 4480 feet. The Parasnath Temple is considered to be one of the most sacred and loftiest of all holy places of the Jains. According to Jain tradition, no less than 23 out of 24 Tirthankaras (including Parsvanatha) reportedly attained salvation here.

The name Hazaribagh denotes 'a thousand gardens'. This is well renowned health resort and people flock to the place because of its salubrious climate and romantic scenery all around. Parasnath Temple is situated on a hillock close by, where 23 out of 24 Jain prophets are believed to have attained salvation. Nestling in low hilly terrain, at a moderate altitude of 1800 ft. (615 meters) you find the National Park spread over 183 sq. kms. It has abundant of wild animals like Wild Boar, Sambar, Nilgai, Chital, Sloth Bear, Tiger and Panther.
