Kerala is in the southernmost part of India and surrounded by Karnataka in north and Tamil Nadu in East. It is one of the smallest states in India covering merely 1.3 percent of total area of the country.

There are three airports in the state which provide international and domestic connections. Kerala is considered as the spice coast of India.
