Gandhi Smriti that was formerly called as 'Birla House' or the 'Birla Bhavan', is primarily a museum that is dedicated to the 'Father of the Nation' Mahatma Gandhiji. This museum is situated in New Delhi and it was in this place where Mahatma Gandhiji spent his last 144 days of his life before he got assassinated on January 30th, 1948.
