6. Gandhi Smriti:
Gandhi Smriti that was formerly called as 'Birla House' or the 'Birla Bhavan', is primarily a museum that is dedicated to the 'Father of the Nation' Mahatma Gandhiji. This museum is situated in New Delhi and it was in this place where Mahatma Gandhiji spent his last 144 days of his life before he got assassinated on January 30th, 1948. Not many of you would be aware of the fact that, this particular place which was once called as 'Birla House' was actually the house that was owned by the Indian business tycoons, the Birla's family. But from 2005, the house has been called as 'Eternal Gandhi Multimedia Museum'.
