2.Mysore Palace:
Mysore Palace, also called as 'Amba Vilas Palace', is situated in the city of Mysore, Karnataka in Southern India. The palace is the official residence of the Royal family of Mysore-Wodeyars. The palace also houses, two durbar halls where most of the Royal ceremonies takes place. The Royal family of Mysore built the first palace in Mysore during the 14th century, but it was demolished and constructed many times from then. The present palace that you see now was started in 1897 and was finally completed in 1912 and the palace was further expanded later around 1940. This palace is considered as the second famous tourist attraction after Taj Mahal as it is visited by more than 2.7 million tourists every year. The foreigners are charged Rs. 200 to visit the palace and there is no permission to take the photographs.
