Ranthambore is one among the biggest national park in northern India. It is being considered as one of the famous and former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. This National park is spread over an area of 392 sq km. Ranthambore parke famed as Tiger Reserve as well. Ranthambhor Tiger Reserve situated on the junction of Aravali and Vindhyas. Government of India and was declared this wild sanctuary as Tiger reserves in 1973.

This national park is bordered by two sanctuaries explicitly Kaila Devi Sanctuary and the Mansingh Sanctuary. Ranthambore national park is prominent for largest banyan trees in India are found as well. Visitors to this national park are renowned for Wildlife Safaris and Jeep Safaris and explore wild animals in their natural territories, and that too from a close range. Forest areas are abounding with aquatic vegetation including lilies, duckweeds, and lotus. A noteworthy geological feature inside the park is the ‘Great Boundary Fault’ where the Vindhaya plateau meets the Aravali range.

A diversity of birds including owlets, the ubiquitous langur (monkey), leopard, caracal, crocodiles, wild boar, hyena, marsh, bears and various species of deer are the other attractions.
