The small town of Shivapur near Pune is famous for the Levitating Stone which is believed to be lifted by the spirit of Sufi Saint Qamar Ali. An astonishing fact about the this stone is that if 11 people touch their finger to the stone and shout the name Qamar Ali Darvesh, the stone flies up in the air. The stone weighs around 200 kg and the phenomenon is yet to be proven scientifically.
