Top 5 Uninhabited Islands of the World

Tetepare, Solomon Islands

Known as the "the last wild island", Tetepare Island has been left uninhabited since the 19th century. The island is 45.5 square miles (118 kms) in area and is the largest uninhabited island in the western Pacific Ocean region. Covered with pristine lowland rainforest and laced with coral reefs, the long rugged islands have been monitored by the Tetepare Descendants Association since 2002. The association has been formed to take care of Tetepare to be left in its original state and to allow tourists to visit the islands.
