Bheemeshwari:
Located at 100 kms from Banagalore, Bheemeshwari is a small town in Mandya district that is located between the Shivanasamundra Falls and Mekedatu Falls on the river Cauvery. Yelagiri:

Loacated at a height of 920 metres, is the magnificent place Yelagiri, a small town in Tamil Nadu. About 150 kms from Bangalore this hill station is blessed with an exquisite climate. Nagarhole National Park:

Also known as "Rajiv Gandhi National Park" is 94 kms from Mysore with rich forest cover, small streams, valleys, and waterfalls. The mountains make the place look absolutely picturesque. It is spread between Kodagu and Mysore district. Huge herds of Asian Elephants flock here together and it is blessed with a bounty of wildlife. It is counted amongst India's best wildlife parks. Mekadatu:

A great picnic spot Mekadatu is 90 kms from Bangalore where you can see a fierce flow of water. Yes it is river Cauvery that runs through a deep, narrow ravine of hard granite rock, though it is not ideal to swim. The road runs parallel with the river, offering some fantastic views, and the rock formations are majestic.

Shivanasamudra.

Located 130 kms from Bangalore is Shivanasamudra. This island town divides the river Cauvery into twin waterfalls Gaganachukki and Banachukki. You can find ancient temples, trek down the hill and have a great holiday with few adventurous activities. You can visit the Dargah,and also the upstream end of the falls. The view towards the top of falls is absolutely amazing. Monsoon season makes this waterfall swell to enormous proportion, creating a waterfall perhaps a thousand feet wide. This is the most beautiful waterfall.
