Pilak

Pilak is located in the southern part of Tripura, which stands as a treasure house of Hindu and Buddhist sculptures. The place is more like a shrine of Hindu and Buddhist art. Shyam Sundar Tilla, Deb Bari, Thakurani Tilla, Balir Pathar, Basudev Bari and Sagar Deba are the important places in Pilak. It has been marked as an archeological site by the Archeological Survey of India. The museum in Agartala exhibits images of Narashimha and Avolokiteswara which were found at Pilak.
