Dumboor Lake

The Dumboor Lake is located near the capital state of Tripura, which is a union of two rivers- Raima and Sarma. It is situated in-between beautiful hills filled with green vegetation. There are about 48 islands in the middle of the lake and the Lake also serves as the source for the river Gomati. In the months of winter different species of migratory birds come to the Lake. Tirthamukh is a pilgrim center in the lake where the famous festival 'Poush Sankranti Mela' takes place annually.
