When the huge wasteland area was declared as a National Park in September 2000, the whole area was 21,100 hectares, and was going through two military revolutions. Now the area is developed for research, eco-tourism and adventurous tours. You can go for a full day adventurous visit to cajuput forests, situated on a stratum of muddy coal. Here you can see and experience the wonders of nature, where you can get close to the bird nests and see their eggs and small birds. Water travel inside cajuput forest ,and bird watching is something you should not miss out. July and August is the best time to enjoy the forest.
