Trekking across Zanskar

him
The trek to Zanskar River means living at altitudes above 13,000 feet. The trek begins from the famous Buddhist monastery at Lamayuru, followed by a trip to Singi-La and then a steep descend to the Zanskar River. A three day trip across the shore will leave you at a village called Padum, where houses are mainly made of mud and stone. The trip just doesn't get to end their as trekkers have to continue south along the river of Kargya and then pass over Shingo La. Almost three weeks straight, the trek across Zanskar river is considered to be one of the most interesting treks ever in Himalayas.
