Goecha La
The Goecha La route starts from the village of Yoksum, straight down to a 16,400 foot pass into the Goecha La which lies directly beneath the main peak of 28,000-foot Kanchenjunga, third highest peak in the world. According to trekkers, the back and forth journey takes around ten days, as it passes through some of the beautiful villages like Phedang, Dzongri, and Jemathang.
