Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad (USA):
This train recognized as a National Historic Landmark of the U.S., is a narrow gauge train originally built in 1882. The train runs between Durango and Silverton, in Colorado. It travels past the breathtaking canyons, exotic wild lives and mountain peaks in the San Juan National Forest. The coal fired, narrow gauge train and its staffers do their best to take you back to the 1880's.
Hiram Bingham (Peru):
This journey will take you from Poroy near Cusco to Machu Picchu. Named after the American explorer Hiram Bingham, who discovered the ruins of the lost city of Machu Pichu, this journey will take you to Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley of the Incas and help you examine the fantastic 15th century architecture of the Incas in Machu Picchu. The train carries only 84 passengers and pampers them with exotic meals and cocktails. Then there are the large cushioned observation cars to lean back on and feast on the romantic Peruvian landscape.
